  • Data & Analytics Execution Plan:

Managed Services allow a business to offload D&A operations to a supplier, known as a Managed Services Provider. The Managed Service provider adopts continuous responsibility for monitoring, managing and problem resolution for the D&A systems within a business. Support Packages

Horsa will work with you to assess your Business Intelligence (BI) team’s capacity and skills in line with what is required to support the D&AI platform and business continuity strategy. We will consider your direct needs to also assist in selecting an appropriate support package based on your basic, advanced, or premium selection of software support, application support, solution administration, proactive monitoring, dedicated Data Scientist, support calls by telephone, software upgrades, rapid response resolution, and release management.

  • Service Desk
  • Software Support

The Service Desk, included with your annual software support and subscription or maintenance fee, provides help and advice on the use and functioning of the platform/product. It is the Service Desk’s responsibility to promptly respond to client issues and requests for support, to determine security levels, and to solve issues as quickly as possible including possible recommendations for ways forward. Service Desk benefits include:

• Access to a professional highly qualified team accredited to the highest standards
• Fault Management systems which log and update clients on issues from start to resolution
• Full telephone support for upgrades offering a range of services from full on-site consultancy to telephone support
• Remote support if required, to help guide you through issues giving minimal downtime
• Regular courtesy calls to ensure you are happy with our products and service
• Free access to our user forums and groups, allowing you to learn and discuss business or technical issues with our other clients and share knowledge, tips & tricks, as well as deployment advice
• Second-line support and account management priority


  • Dedicated Consultant

All of Horsa’s Consultants have a minimum of three years expertise working across various sectors and functions. Their wealth of real-world experience enables them to quickly understand your business needs and deliver timely, tailored solutions. Our Consultants and Data Scientists will work with you to ensure that the relevant end-users have access to the completed application.

Horsa also believes in utilising an iterative development approach wherein periodic feedback and identification of potential improvements should be canvassed from these end-users. This ensures that the software will continue to meet the needs of its users and will continue to be utilised once deployed to BAU. Your dedicated Consultant will also ensure that access to your software’s support is available, clearly signposted to the end-user and that those providing internal support have clearly defined responsibilities for server, security and application management.


  • Supporting Consulting Team

The dedicated Consultant will be supported by a wider Consulting and Data Scientist team, which includes members with a variety of skills sets and specialisations such as:

• Advanced Analytics Consultants (Predictive, Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT
• Project Managers


  • Rapid Response Service

In the event where software support or development is more urgent, Horsa offers a rapid response service option based on the following principles:

• One day response - the provision of a suitably skilled Consultant or Data Scientist within 24 hours of a written request from the client.
• We will endeavour to provide the dedicated Consultant for a rapid response whenever possible.
• If the dedicated Consultant is not available then we will provide a Consultant of similar skill-level who will also be familiar with your set-up.
• Should more than one Consultant be required for a rapid response then we will do our utmost to provide the additional resource within a suitable time.

On commencement of each new rapid response assignment, the dedicated Consultant, will quickly confirm the full resource requirements needed to achieve the successful completion. These requirements will be discussed, refined and agreed upon with the client and incorporated into the managed project plan, ensuring client needs and expectations are continually met.


  • Qlik Training

Horsa believes in enabling your staff where appropriate to further develop their Qlik skills and knowhow. We train new and existing staff members through standard formal structured Qlik courses as well as tailored training sessions.

Our Qlik courses, including Designer and Developer training, both of which are typically two day ‘formal classroom’ training programmes conducted at your office for up to eight attendees or as part of our open house training sessions in our London office. We also provide Qlik Management Console training and tailored training based on Client specific requirements. As part of this tailored training, we can also provide “train-the-trainer” training.


  • Quality and Reporting

To support our Managed Service we will provide a dedicated Account Manager as the main point of contact to understand and oversee the end-to-end delivery of your requirements. The Account Manager ensures the entire engagement adds value at each step; attends product review meetings; conducts quarterly review meetings to examine projects, resources, infrastructure, learnings, adoption tracks, and innovation tracks in ongoing assignments; works closely with the Consultants and Data Scientists to ensure client satisfaction and quality of delivery; and report to and meet regularly with our Head of Consulting and Sales Director.
